Golliher Farms Food Club
2018 Sign-Ups are Now Open!
Our Food Club is a unique partnership between our farm and members of the community. By becoming a Food Club member, your membership fee helps us get up and going every spring. Planting acres of vegetables and caring for hundreds of animals takes a lot of money! In return, members receive weekly shares of farm fresh meats, brown eggs and veggies from the farm. In 2017 we added a Shared Harvest Day, where members come to the farm to pick up extra produce at no charge. This is something we plan to continue for the 2018 season as a thanks to members. After all, this harvest is made possible in part by the members!
The Food Club allows members to develop a relationship with their food and the farmers at Golliher Farms. This is an important step to changing the way you think about the food you consume. Our goal is to build these relationships, and in doing so improve the health of our community.

Pick-up Locations 2017
Farm: 17474 W. Hunnicut Road, Cambridge City, IN 47327
Saturdays 5pm – 8pm
Richmond Farmers Market: Jack Elstro Plaza, 47 N. 6th Street, Richmond, IN
Saturdays 8am – 12pm
You must pick up your share every week at the designated place and time, or your share will be forfeited to Golliher Farms. You can arrange for somebody to pick up your share for you.
How Long Does the Food Club Last?
The Food Club runs for 10 weeks every summer from July – September. This is when all of the good stuff is in season! The pick up dates for 2018 are as follows: July 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, August 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, September 1st, September 8th.
What Will Be Included Each Week?
Naturally Raised, Pastured Meats from the Farm:
You can expect 3 – 5 pounds of either beef, pork or chicken each week. In 2017 members received Country Style Sausage, Ground Beef (Bulk and Patties), Smoked Pork Patties, Chicken Leg Quarters, Smoked Sausage Links, Chicken Breast, Bacon, County Fair Bacon & Pork Burgers, 3 different flavors of Brats, Smoked Whole Chicken, Boneless Pork Chops, and Cut-up Whole Chickens.
Free Range Brown Eggs
1 – 2 Dozen Eggs each week
Fresh Produce from the Farm:
A variety of produce as it comes in to season here at the farm. As the season goes on, expect a larger variety. We will try to include as many different vegetables each week as we can. You can expect to see the following vegetables throughout the season:
Sweet corn, green beans, broccoli, cabbage, green onions, potatoes, radishes, carrots, summer squash, zucchini, cucumbers, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, okra, eggplant, roma tomatoes, pie pumpkins, spaghetti squash, several varieties of slicing tomatoes, garlic and watermelon.
Plan on an average of 10 pounds of fresh produce each week.
Shared Harvest for Food Club Members
Our annual Shared Harvest is a way for us to thank members for their support. It also helps to ensure that no produce goes to waste here on the farm! In 2017 members could choose to take up to 5 dozen ears of sweet corn, 10 heads of cabbage, a ½ bushel box of bell peppers (around 30 peppers), and 20 pounds of tomatoes. We encourage members to preserve the veggies to last long after the Food Club ends!
The amounts and types of veggies will vary from year to year depending on what grows well for us.
How Much Does It Cost?
The membership fee for the 2018 season is $450
You have the option to pay the full amount now, or a $50 deposit to reserve your spot. Those who pay the deposit will be billed by email for the remaining balance ($400) on March 1st 2018. Payment is due by April 1st 2018.
